Hot Springs & Pools

The waters that fill most of the pools at Doña Jovita Garden Resort come directly from the hot springs of Mt Makiling. Mineral-rich and naturally heated, hot springs can increase metabolism, accelerate healing, soothe muscles, improve blood circulation and detoxify the body’s lymphatic system.
Bathing in hot springs gives many of the benefits of exercise with less strain on the heart – it increases the heart rate while lowering blood pressure. Experts also recommend soaking in natural hot springs for two hours before bedtime to help one sleep better. The buoyancy of the water relaxes the muscles and supports and reduces stress on the joints.

Garden Getaway

The Garden Getaway rooms can be airconditioned or fan ventilated. Take your pick of the rooms in this very natural garden setting and stay the day, the evening or overnight and be embraced by nature.Day trippers who go for poolside picnics usually rent tables & benches or tree houses and picnic huts. Food to be cooked on rented grills is allowed. Beer, softdrinks and water have corresponding corkage fees.

Mediterranean Escape

The other half of Dona Jovita Garden Resort is aptly called “Mediterranean Escape”, a concrete haven cooled by the profusion of palm trees, exotic blooms and fruit trees. The blue waters of the warm pool beckons one to take a dip. The 6 rooms at the main building are airy, posh and bright with wide glass windows to let the sunshine in. The dormitories can house a maximum of 16 for Dorm 2 and 24 for Dorm 1. In the Mediterranean Escape is the Polo Room, a function venue for weddings, seminars, team buildings and more.

Flora and Fauna

The dense forest of Mt. Makiling is reflected in the verdant acres of Doña Jovita Garden Resort, making it a natural habitat to the various species of birds that can occasionally be seen and heard around the property. The resort also keeps its own animals like a pair of peacocks and several horses that laze round the football field and can be rented out for a quick ride around the resort premises.

Doña Jovita Garden Resort also prides itself in the many plants and flowers that bloom around the resort and provide color and shade to the terrain. The fruit trees that are a sight to behold when its limbs are heavy with fruit include mangga, sinigwelas, kamias, papaya, avocado, caimito, santol, and sampaloc.
