THE HOTEL

Sitting inside a 2-hectare car shop turned modern arts center, The Hotel at Green Sun is among the few places with a fascinating piece of history. Step inside and you’ll see the exposed pipes, bare concrete walls, and industrially-designed beams and ceilings. All are remnants of the original structure purposely kept to pay homage to the building’s past as a car warehouse and repair shop back in the 1970s.

Now a fashion runway is in place at what used to be a huge garage for car repair, and instead of a showroom for cars, it is locally made designs and the youth’s artistic talents that are on display at the newly repurposed Green Sun building.

But that is just the beginning. Your stay at The Hotel means a seamless journey from our extensive history to the wonders of the contemporary. It is, after all, right at the heart of the place of wonder, entertainment, and inspiration that is Green Sun.

AXON

Our expansive 1,000 square-meter AXON hosts painting, photography, sculpture, and installation art exhibits by emerging and, occasionally, even established artists. But thanks to its unconventional design, guests may also opt to enjoy a great view of the artworks over food, drinks, and music by the elevated upscale dining area at the heart of the gallery.

AXON is designed less of a museum and more of a creative hub—leaving out the deafening quiet of museum halls in favor of the convivial and inviting vibe of a chill out spot. The concept behind the space revolves around the idea that if Juan Luna and his contemporaries were in the 21st century, it would have been not just their showroom but also a favorite hangout place.
